In a post on July 18, OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT trading platform, announced the implementation of the launchpad feature on the Solana platform.
With this feature, developers will be able to host NFT mint events on OpenSea. The exchange will help the NFT project before minting and allowlist information from the community and support the project in its subsequent activities and listing on the marketplace.
“We believe in a multi-chain future where everyone on OpenSea can access NFTs on different chains. Over the past year, Solaan has become the go-to destination for NFTs and we have something in common. goal of an NFT ecosystem,” said OpenSea representative.
OpenSea’s program will kick off with two NFT collections called Zoonies on July 20 and Monkai on July 26.
OpenSea is the world’s largest NFT exchange with a trading volume of billions of USD per month. In April 2022, OpenSea supported NFTs on the Solana ecosystem and quickly became the second exchange on this ecosystem, after Magic Eden.
With the move to open new features, OpenSea is planning to compete for market share on the “piece of cake” with competitors on Solana. Before that, Magic Eden was the NFT trading platform with the most projects choosing mint events.
